Stretching Is a very valuable tool for someone that wants to start maintaining their body. While adding this to your personal routine on a regular basis can be therapeutic in its self. you can expect to see plenty of benefits. Such as but not limited to:
- Increased flexibility
- More range of motion
- Better your blood flow to your muscles
Exercise In today’s society, exercising is becoming more and more popular. Whether you’re someone that likes to go to the gym; play a sport or jog along the beaches here on the amazing Sunshine Coast. If you don’t currently exercise on a regular/semi-regular basis this might help you by:
- Increasing your energy
- Enjoying healthier muscles
- Naturally, release endorphins into your body making you happier
Foam Rolling My personal favourite would have to be foam rolling, while it is not as good as a massage, it does shares some of the benefits. You are able to target areas you can’t massage yourself. It is also a very affordable way to help your personal body maintenance. Benefits may include:
- Decreasing the risk of injury
- More range of motion
- Increase blood flow
Meditation We all live busy lives and I hear it all the time; I just want 5 minutes to myself. Meditation is exactly that, 5 minutes were you can just relax and if that’s not enough, you can start today FREE. There are many benefits to this little treasure but I will just name a few:
- Helps lower blood pressure
- Improves heart rate
- Releases Tightness and tension
As you can see, there are great benefits to be had from each of the body maintenance ideas. I would recommend that you seek a professional to guide you in any of the above however YouTube has some great information and tutorials as well.
